These puzzles are used in conjunction with Ni hao 1, starting from chapter 4 for practice and consolidation of vocabulary used.

Puzzles are cultural symbols of China and can be adapted for any level.

This is an activity which can be done in pairs and students can practice formulaic expressions in the Target Language such as 'Zhe shi shenme?', 'Wo bu zhidao'.

Sudoku

Sudoku is more creative way to get students to practice character writing while having fun. It is an excellent alternative to endlessly writing out characters again and again. A number of sudoku puzzles have been provided for various levels but the template can be adapted for almost anything.
